About the event
Discover Kizomba from the ground up.
Kizomba Foundations: Connection is a welcoming 6-week course designed for new dancers. Learn the essentials of Kizomba, a partner dance with roots in Angola, while exploring how we communicate with a partner through movement, rhythm, and connection.
No dance experience or partner required. Whether this is your very first dance class or you’re looking to strengthen your foundations, you’ll build your skills and confidence in Kizomba.
Mondays: Sept 21 – Nov 2 (no class Oct 12) from 7:00–8:00 PM
Class registration also includes access to our biweekly Friday "Kizomba & Mingle" for no additional cost. Come practice what you're learning, ask questions, and socialize with other students.
Not ready to commit to the full session? Drop-ins are welcome for the first two classes for $20 per class (Sept 21 & 28)
Connection and Play are our two Kizomba Foundations courses. Complete both—in either order—to move on to Intermediate Kizomba.

Kizomba Foundations: Connection (6 week course). Available to students currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution. Valid student ID may be requested.

Drop-in to one of the first Kizomba Foundations Classes to check it out! Drop-in classes will contribute to your 6 week class registration if you decide to attend the full session.
