About the event
Kizomba Foundations: Play is a welcoming 6-week course designed for new dancers. Learn the essentials of Kizomba, a partner dance with roots in Angola, while exploring rhythm, playful variations, and different ways to move with the music.
No dance experience or partner required. Whether this is your very first dance class or you're continuing your Kizomba journey, you'll build your skills and confidence while discovering the fun of dancing with a partner.
Mondays: Nov 9 – Dec 14 from 7:00–8:00 PM
Class registration also includes access to our biweekly Friday "Kizomba & Mingle" for no additional cost. Come practice what you're learning, ask questions, and socialize with other students.
Not ready to commit to the full session? Drop-ins are welcome for the first two classes for $20 per class (Nov 9 & 16).
Connection and Play are our two Kizomba Foundations courses. Complete both—in either order—to move on to Intermediate Kizomba.
